Meta Tech Provider

What the designation means

VKIT participates in Meta’s technology provider ecosystem and uses Meta’s official platform interfaces to provide approved business tools. It does not mean Meta owns VKIT, endorses every feature, or removes your responsibility to follow Meta’s policies. Your Instagram account remains under your control.

Connection

You choose the account

Connection starts through Meta’s authorization flow. You review the access requested and select the eligible account you want VKIT to use.

Permissions and purpose

Access is requested for a specific product job.

Permission area	Why VKIT uses it
Account identity	To identify the professional account you choose to connect and show the correct profile inside VKIT.
Pages and Instagram account access	To find an eligible Instagram professional account connected to a Page and establish the connection you request.
Messages and comments	To power comment-triggered and message-triggered AutoDM workflows that you configure.
Content publishing	To publish supported media and captions to your connected Instagram professional account when you instruct VKIT to do so.
Insights	To display available performance information for connected accounts and content.

Safeguards and controls

Nothing should feel hidden.

Connect and disconnect

Connect from VKIT’s account settings. Disconnect through VKIT support or Meta’s Business Integrations settings. Disconnecting stops future platform actions that depend on that connection.

Publishing safeguards

Publishing runs only for content, account and timing choices a user makes. VKIT validates supported inputs, surfaces failures and never treats a draft as permission to publish it.

AutoDM controls

You choose the trigger, reply and active state. Turn a workflow off at any time. Automations must respond only within supported Meta flows, and recipients can opt out or stop engaging.

Data and deletion

VKIT uses connected-account data to deliver the features you request. You can disconnect an account, delete content and request deletion of account data through the documented process.

Account responsibility

Use a strong unique password, protect the email connected to VKIT, review authorized integrations and remove access you no longer need.
