START WITH A SIGNAL

Three windows.
Your next experiment.

Buffer highlights these posting windows in its research. Treat them as starting points, then test against your own results. Times are local clock times, not UTC.

MAKE IT YOURS

A schedule
you can actually test.

Move the sliders. Try one research slot and one time that fits your audience. Repeat both each week, then compare similar posts.

This labels your plan in the selected zone; it does not convert the research times or schedule posts.

LOOK PAST THE CLOCK

Good timing deserves
good content.

Separate personal stories, practical how-tos and product announcements in your notes. Judge a professional post by the conversations it starts, alongside its reach.

01

Choose one outcome.

Decide whether the post is meant to earn reach, replies or visits. Record the same measure for every test.

02

Give results equal time.

Take each reading after the same interval, such as 48 hours. Keep paid promotion out of an organic comparison.

03

Repeat before deciding.

A handful of posts is a clue, not proof. Try the promising window again before rebuilding your calendar.

A little clarity.

Is there one best time to post on LinkedIn?

No single slot works for every audience. Published studies offer a starting point; your audience, format, location and topic can change the result.

Which time zone should I use?

The source presents local-time recommendations. Choose one audience time zone for your experiment and record it consistently. For a global audience, run separate regional tests.

Does the slider predict engagement?

No. It changes your test plan only. The research cards are fixed, attributed snapshots; the planner does not predict reach or connect to your account.

How do I use the CSV?

Open it in a spreadsheet, choose actual dates for each week, then enter results after publishing. It is a tracking worksheet, not an automatic publishing import.
